Roman Legion sword found in Britain
Actual blade length 51.5 cm (20.25 inches). this was a great find, the iron scabbard has been fused to the blade, so the chape is clearly visible, the silver roman bust of an emperor (as yet to be positively identified) still attached to the scabbard, there is still the buckle intact.
